Our Story
Our journey began back in 1985 when the business was focused on growing Christmas trees. Known then as Highland Nursery and Evergreen, and nestled within Highland Township of northern Michigan, a need was recognized for an inexpensive tree tag, printed with information about the tree and the grower.
Soon after, a specialized printing machine was built and put into operation. Numbering capabilities and in-house film slitting were soon added. As the business continued to grow the name was changed to Highland Company, and later to Highland Company LLC.
In 2021 the business assets and resources were reorganized into what is now Highland Converting LLC.
From the beginning, the company has been supplying to industry, businesses, growers, and the public in general— innovation, technology, and commitment to providing high quality products. We invite you to join us on our journey into the future!
